Carl R. Roehrer, Jr., age 93, born in Cleveland, Ohio and a resident of Birmingham, died Thursday, Jan. 3, 2013 at William F. Green State Veterans Home in Bay Minette.
He was a retired sales manager for an electrical equipment company. He was a veteran of World War II having served with the U.S. Army. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy (Patton) Roehrer of Navarre, Fla; one son, David Roehrer of Birmingham; one daughter, Kathryn (Darrald) Pearce of Navarre, Fla; one sister, Ernestine McIntyre of Cleveland, Ohio; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. The funeral service will be held Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013 at 10 a.m. at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home in Bay Minette. Entombment will be held Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2013 at 1 p.m. at Elmwood Cemetery in Birmingham.
