Carl W. Ellison, age 86, a native and resident of Rosinton, Ala., passed away Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2015.
Mr. Ellison was a lifelong farmer — he loved to farm.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Ellison.
He is survived by his daughter, Sue (William) McDaniel of Robertsdale, Ala.; four sons, Robert (Peggy) Ellison of Styx River, Ala., Michael (Deborah) Ellison of Rosinton, Ala., Mark (Catherine) Ellison, Shane (Kay) Ellison, both of Loxley, Ala.; sister, Alice Lancaster of Robertsdale, Ala.; like-a-brother, F.B. Ellison of Rosinton, Ala.; special friend, Virginia Martin of Robertsdale, Ala.; right-hand-man, Shane Wendland; 11 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday, Oct. 9, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Mack Funeral Home chapel, with burial at the New Cooper Cemetery, Robertsdale, Ala.
A visitation will be held from 1 until 2 p.m. at Mack Funeral Home on Friday.
