Carol Dianne Vaughn, 66, of Magnolia Springs, died August 5, 2012 at her home.
She was born Sept. 11, 1945 in Indianapolis, Ind. She was the daughter of Keith (Pete) B. and Gladys Cheshire. She graduated PS 91 grade school and a 1963 graduate of Broad Ripple High School. In the early years of her marriage she worked at a variety of jobs but decided to spend her time raising the children and supporting her husband’s career. She was baptized in Christ at East 49th Street Christian Church early in life. She was active in the churches she later attended including: First Christian Church (D.O.C.) in Madison, Ind., First Christian Church (D.O.C.) Tupelo, Miss., South Baldwin Christian Church (D.O.C.) Foley, and recently transferred her membership to Fairhope Christian Church (D.O.C.) Fairhope. She was past treasurer /secretary of Christian Churches of Ala. and N.W. Fla. (D.O.C.) District V. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by her husband of 49 years Jesse Kenneth (Ken) Vaughn, Magnolia Springs; children, Suzanne Mechelle Vaughn, Magnolia Springs, Milissa D. Brooks (Scottie) Guntown, Miss., David K. Vaughn (Tiffany), Tupelo; brothers, Tom Cheshire Anderson, Inf., Jim Cheshire Indianapolis, Paul Cheshire Arlington, Va.; two grandchildren, Haleigh and Amber Brooks. She was preceded in death by her parents, Keith and Gladys Cheshire of Indianapolis, in-laws, Jesse and Helen Vaughn of Madison, Ind. The Rev.
