Carol Meszaros Youngblood, 73, of Elberta Ala., passed away April 17, 2015.
She was born and raised in Elberta, but had ventured out to Pensacola to work and raise her family. She returned to Elberta when her mother had passed away. Carol had made a full and happy life for herself at her home.
Carol loved her family. She was known to travel as far as Texas and all along the Florida Gulf Coast to see her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She would always return home with wonderful stories of what kinds of fun and adventures they had during her visits.
At home, Carol loved to garden. She was always ready to give a gardening tip or to trade plantings with anyone willing to learn. She loved passing on her knowledge.
When she wasn't gardening, she was enjoying time with family close to home. Bargain hunting, bonfires and football (ROLL TIDE!), mixed in with lots of family silliness and fun.
Carol was a fighter, too. She battled and beat cancer three times. Throughout the battle, she had kept a positive and cheerful attitude that was contagious.
Most important of all, Carol loved, and she was loved right back. Her sudden passing has left us all with such a sadness. We are all so proud and honored to have had such an amazing woman grace our lives.
Carol was proceeded in death by her parents, Michael and Helen; and siblings, Michael and Gail.
She is survived by her brother, Robert Meszaros; wife, Pearl; and children. Carol’s children, Denise and son Cory, Alicia, Gary and son Sebastian, Tracey, Tommy and children, Misty, Derek and children Adalynn and Ridge, Mandy, Bernard and son Britian, Alex, Jamie and children, Robert and Stephanie; Samantha; Lisa and Nelson; George Jr., Nate, Samuel, Gretchen and Alaura
Kerry and Federico and children, Carol and Allen and son Calvin; Federico Jr.; Elena and Chris and daughter Bailey, Wendy and Rickey and sons Dylan, Logan, and Dustin.
Memorial service had been held April 24, 2015 at Harper-Morris Memorial Chapel, Pensacola.
