Carolyn G. Allen, Birmingham native and widow of Montgomery native Paul Allen, died June 27, 2016 at her home in Georgia.
She was the daughter of Gurtha Kirkland Baxter Huffstutler and Arthur Roscoe Baxter. Sister of Faye and Harold Huffstutler and late Jerry Baxter, Shirley Baxter and Travis Huffstutler.
After marrying Paul in 1963 they had two children, David and Charles. Charles passed in 1983.
She was a business owner of a bridal shop in Orlando, Florida for approximately 15 years before retiring.
Her hobbies were gardening, sewing and spending time with family.
She is survived by her son, David Allen; sister and brother, Faye and Harold Huffstutler; grandchildren, Dustin Allen and Hanna Hillman; and great-grandchildren, Anthony Allen, William Carlson, Levi and Jayce Hillman.
Services and burial were held at Pine Rest Funeral Home and Memorial Park in Foley, Alabama on July 6.
