Darvin Mayo Carver, 67, a native of Bon Secour and a resident of Summerdale, died Sunday, Jan. 27, 2008 at his residence.
He graduated from Foley High School in 1961. He was an assistant manager for Greers and Piggly Wiggly in Foley and attended Robertsdale Church of the Nazarene.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Luther and Inez Carver and his granddaughter, Jessica Lynn Hill.
Survivors include his wife, Betty J. Carver of Summerdale; three daughters, Evelyn Denise Wirth of Robertsdale, Carolyn Noreen Shaw of Summerdale and Barbara Ann Trammell of Summerdale; sister, Voncille Bruhn of Foley; two brothers, Wayne Carver of Foley and Verne Carver of Enterprize, AL; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Visitation was held Tuesday, Jan. 29 at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Foley. Funeral services were held Wednesday, Jan. 30 from the funeral home chapel. Interment followed at Pine Rest Memorial Park, Foley.
