Curtis Carl Cassebaum, 69, a native and resident of Lillian, died Friday, April 24, 2009.
He was a farmer in the Lillian area. He was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents August and Elizabeth Cassebaum, and a brother, Richard Cassebaum.
Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Gerda Cassebaum; two daughters, Dianna Shirley and Pam (Dale) Kinard of Lillian; son Todd (Hope) Cassebaum of Lillian; six grandchildren, all of Lillian; three sisters, Lois (Harold) Schnieder of Foley, Carol Soesbe of Foley, and Shirley (Robert) Barber of Gulf Breeze, Fla.; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, April 27 at Bayview Funeral Home in Foley. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 28 at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Elberta. Interment will follow at St. Mark’s Lutheran Cemetery. The family would like to invite everyone to the farm after the funeral services for a time of fellowship.
