CASSELBERRY

Martha Louise Bridge Casselberry, born Jan. 13, 1930, in Winfield, Kansas, died Monday, Oct. 19, 2009 in Fairhope.

She married William Casselberry on May 27, 1957 in Bartlesville, Okla., after which she resided and traveled around the world during her life.

She was a member of P.E.O., a philanthropic educational organization of women, dedicated to advancing women through educational scholarships, grants, awards and loans, as well as motivating women to achieve their highest goals and aspirations.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Nelson Bridge and Laura Belle Burke Bridge, and by a brother Homer Nelson Bridge.

Survivors include her husband of 52 years, William Casselberry of Fairhope; son, Gregory Casselberry  of Idyllwild, Calif.; three daughters, Laura Umthun of Hauser, Idaho, Alison Berry of Fairhope and Anne-Marie Kimmett, of Clyde, N.C.;  eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. 

A celebration of life service was held Saturday, Oct. 31 in Leesburg, Va.   

The family requests memorial donations be made to Educational Loan Foundation of P.E.O. International Headquarters, 3700 Grand Ave., Des Moines, IA 50312.
