Catherine H. Brown, 89, a native of Little River and a resident of Detroit, died Dec. 29, 2010 in Detroit.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Brown; and two sisters, Elizabeth Hampshire Marshall and Estelle H. Jones.
Survivors include a daughter, Gloria White McClammy Harrell of Detroit; and a son, Eugene (Diane) McClammy of Fort Washington, Md.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 7 from the chapel of MayBerry Funeral Home. Services will be held at noon Saturday, Jan. 8 at Tate Creek Missionary Baptist Church in Little River, Blackshear Community with the Rev. Sylvester Williams, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow at Tate Creek Cemetery.
