Catholic Social Services provides professional, multi-faceted services in Baldwin County.  We hold a preferential option for the poor.  Services are direct (finanical assistance rent, utilities, medical, food, prescriptions, school supplies/fees/uniforms, early disaster response, sponsor special projects to increase reaources for poor families, etc.) and indirect (advocacy, networking, leadership, licensed professional mental health counselor, etc.) We have a Volunteer Program, Permanent Housing for Disabled Homeless, Homeless Prevention Services, Thrift Shop (where families may shop for free after avisit to the case worker).  Our Food Pantry and Thrift Shop are blessed with devoted volunteers who make it work.
