Cathy Owens Alexander Pridgen, 56, a lifelong resident of Baldwin County, passed away Friday, May 16, 2014.

Mrs. Pridgen was a longtime member of Galilee Primitive Baptist Church in Stapleton.

She retired from Walmart in Foley, and loved Alabama football and spending her time embroidering.

Cathy was a loving wife and sister.

She is survived by her husband, Richard A. Pridgen of Spanish Fort; her mother, Loraine Holman of Daphne; two sisters, Sheila (Lou) Vick of Gulf Shores and Brenda Kassab of Foley; mother-in-law, Eloise Pridgen of Saraland; sisters-in-law, Diane (Dean) Bean of Semmes and Judy (Larry) Johnson of Saraland; brothers-in-law, Gerrel (Judy) Pridgen of Chickasaw and Lynn (Mary) Pridgen of Creola; stepsisters, Dot and Brenda; nephews, Woody Pierce, and Allen and Kevin Butler; and other relatives and friends.

Cathy is also survived by her loving dogs, Trixie, Pepper and Bunch.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Monday, May 19, 2014 at the Galilee Primitive Baptist Church, 37295 Hwy. 31 N. in Stapleton.

Visitation will begin at 1 p.m.

Elder Bobby Willis will officiate, and interment will follow in Galilee Memorial Cemetery.
