Robert Lee Catrett, 77, a native and a resident of Stockton, died Sunday, March 7, 2010 at Westminster Village.

He operated his own business (Lee Catrett’s Electrical Company) for 25 years. He was a member of the Stockton Volunteer Fire Department for 40 years, a lifetime member of the Stockton Methodist Church and a member of the Stockton Man’s Coffee Club; and was a sergeant in the U.S. Marines where he served our country in Korea.

Survivors include his wife, Erma Williams Catrett of Stockton; two daughters, LeAnne Catrett (James) Tamblyn of Mobile and Shawna Catrett (Steven) Broussard of Huntsville; brother, James Franklin (Jackie) Catrett Sr. of Geraldine; grandchildren, Perrin LeAnne Tamblyn, Lynn McClure Tamblyn, Laura Catrett Tamblyn, William Lee Broussard and Jonathan Kern Broussard; nieces, Shelly Catrett (Mike) Lilley of Indianapolis, Ind., and Tracy Catrett (Thomas) Walls of Chattanooga, Tenn.; and his nephew, James Franklin Catrett Jr. of Atlanta.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 10 from the chapel of Norris Funeral Home with the Rev. Stephen Shelley officiating. Burial followed at Stockton Memorial Cemetery.

The family requests memorial donations be made to Stockton Methodist Church, P.O. Box 7, Stockton, AL 36579.
