ROBERTSDALE, Ala. — Jordan Trotter, a seventh grade student at Central Baldwin Middle School, recently received a Leadership award from Leadership teacher Rod Davis.
A six-week long class that teaches positive character traits and decision making skills for an hour a day is designed for seventh and eighth grade boys, especially those who come from single parent homes.
Davis said this is the first year they have had the class and the coaches pick 15 to 25 boys every six weeks to participate. This award is given to a student who exemplifies the traits taught in the one hour class twice a week.
Davis said Trotter was chosen because he has proven to be an excellent role model and displays many leadership qualities.
