Cecil W. Burden (Pee Wee) went to be with the Lord Sunday morning, Oct. 26, 2014. He would have been 78 the next day.
He is survived by his wife, Johnnie Young Burden of Gulf Shores; brother, Jerry Burden of Burkburnett, Texas; a son, Terry Burden of Foley; a daughter, Frances Lamb (Jeff) of Delage, Mo.; stepsons, Andy Chambers, and Johnnie’s sons, Martin Williams of Orange Beach and Albert Williams of Gulf Shores, eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, Nov. 1, 2014, at 11 a.m., at Oyster Bay Baptist Church on Plash Island in Gulf Shores. Visitation will be prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, it is requested that donations be made to the church’s building fund.
Graveside service will be Nov. 7, 2014, at 1:30 p.m., at Oak Hill Cemetery in Prattville.
