Central Baldwin Chamber of Commerce announces 2012 Board of Directors

ROBERTSDALE, Alabama — The Central Baldwin Chamber of Commerce has elected its board of directors for 2012. Tommy Herndon of Golden Living Center was named as chairman while incoming chairman will be Mike Allegri of Budweiser-Busch Distributing Co.

The Chamber holds annual elections every October in order to replace board members who have served their three year terms and are rolling off.

In addition to Herndon and Allegri, the Executive Board for 2012 will be: Past Chairman, Steve Brooks of Riviera Utilities, Sylvia Mattingly of Century 21, SSM Real Estate, Darlene Roper of Magnolia Blossom Cafe and Patrick Northcutt of Johnson, Slaughter, Elder & Northcutt.

The remainder of the 2012 board of directors includes Tim Hobbs of Baldwin EMC, Charles Eubanks of South Baldwin Regional Medical Center, Ronnie Givens of Coca-Cola Bottling Co., Douglas Garner of Thomas Hospital, Leslie Sawyer of Mama Lou's, Wayne Gruenloh of Gruenloh & Associates, Susanna Dollarhide of Regions Bank, Cindy Brown of Baldwin Farms Apartments, John Thomas of Liberty Telecom Consultants, Kay Arnette of RBC Bank and David Garbo of Hiller Systems Inc.

2012 Board Members representing municipalities include: Katina Griffin with the City of Robertsdale; Joey Knight with the Town of Loxley; and Mary deLaunay with the Town of Silverhill. A representative with the Town of Summerdale has yet to be determined.

The Chamber would like to thank the 2012 board members for taking the responsibility and hope that this experience will be enjoyable and rewarding, both personally and for their business.

The Chamber would also like to thank and acknowledge outgoing board members for their service. They are Joseph Shaw, attorney at law; Alan Schott of Baldwin EMC; Jennifer Cook of RBC Bank; Jared Lyles, attorney at law; and Chris Klinger of Industrial Filtration Services.

The 2012 new board will be sworn in at the Chamber’s Annual Banquet on Thursday, Jan. 19, 2012.
