ROBERTSDALE — The Central Baldwin Chamber of Commerce Nominating Committee is seeking nominations for new directors to serve three-year terms.

All members of the Central Baldwin Chamber that are in good standing and current on their membership dues are eligible for nomination. Members can nominate themselves or an employee that can adequately represent their business. Members can also nominate another Chamber member.

Board membership requires participation in monthly meetings that are held the second Tuesday of each month at 7:45 a.m. at the Chamber office. Board members are also expected to support Chamber sponsored events including networking events, seminars and major events, serve on at least one committee and promote membership in the Chamber.

The board consists of 18 voting members and four non-voting town representatives from Loxley, Roberstdale, Silverhill and Summerdale. The board is responsible for governance, the oversight of policies, creating and monitoring the budget, raising funds and evaluating performance.

Current directors leaving their positions are: Carl Davis of Alfa Insurance, John Eringman of United Bank, Jeff Plato of Health-Tec Services, Kathy Schreiber of Advantage Business Solutions, Tommy Herndon of Golden Living, Thomas Pilcher of First Baldwin Land Title and Steve Brooks of Riviera Utilities.

In addition to those who will be leaving their positions in January 2017, the current board of directors includes: Chairman Tim Hobbs of Baldwin EMC, Incoming Chairman Jonathan Kitchens of Furniture City, Chris McCoy of South Baldwin Regional Medical Center, Sandy Caruso of Homewood Suites of Daphne, Sandy Folan of Habitat for Humanity, Howard Harper of CashSaver, April Kahlbau of Infirmary Health, Casey White of Pen Air Federal Credit Union, Ken Tolbert of Coca-Cola Bottling Company, Magi Thomley Williams of Wind Creek Hospitality, Mary Carolyn McDaniel of the Town of Summerdale, Tina Harris of the Town of Loxley, Mary deLaunay of the Town of Silverhill, and Ruthie Campbell of the City of Robertsdale.
