Central Baldwin Chamber welcomes junior executives for 2011-12

ROBERTSDALE, Alabama — One of the many exciting programs the Central Baldwin Chamber of Commerce promotes each year is its Junior Executive program. The Chamber’s goal is to create interest in service to the community by offering Juniors and Seniors in the Central Baldwin area the opportunity to become involved with Chamber activities, and learn about the business community. In addition to being involved in community service oriented projects, these young people will also participate in a wide range of chamber events including: Business After Hours, Third Thursdays, Annual Banquet, Prayer Breakfast and various activities designed to promote the Central Baldwin Chamber and community.

In addition to attending and helping out at various Chamber and community functions, Junior Executives will also work closely with Chamber staff and committee members to plan and organize community and business events. This will allow the Junior Executives a chance to enhance their social and organizational skills and an opportunity for them to interact with business leaders in Central Baldwin.

Junior Executives for 2011-2012 are Presley Sheffield, Amber Hilton, Savannah Thompson, Catherine Elgie, Kayla Williamson, Madison Strickland, Brittany Blaeser, Sarah Sawyer, Kristen Curtis, Lauren Mosley, Kathryne Bankester, Kenyia Lepine and Bobbi Caldwell. Chris Klinger of Industrial Filtration Services is the Program Chairman.

"For the first time ever the Central Baldwin Chamber will provide at least a $1,000 scholarship for one of its Junior Executives this year. This class of Junior Executives is one of the best and most engaged of all time," said Klinger. "Chamber member businesses can be a part of this and contribute to help escalate the scholarship amount that will be earned by one (or more) high performing, engaged Junior Executives by calling Jamie at the Chamber today. And, come meet your Junior Executives, if you haven't already, at the next Chamber event."

The Chamber would like to extend a big "thank you" to Baldwin EMC for sponsoring the Junior Executive Program.
