Municipalities, among others, in Central Baldwin celebrated the Christmas season with two parades and a host of activities over the last two weeks. Loxley and Summerdale both held parades and park activities to celebrate the season on Saturday, Dec. 14. Robertsdale held its Christmas in the Park on Saturday, Dec. 7 with performances by the Robertsdale High School chorus and RHS Golden Bear Marching Band. The parade, sponsored by the Robertsdale Rotary Club, rolled at around 6:30. Silverhill hosted its annual Christmas parade on Friday, Dec. 6. Vendors and booths were set up Friday and Saturday, rescheduled from the town's rained out Heritage Day activities. The Central Baldwin Chamber of Commerce held its annual holiday Business After Hours on Tuesday, Dec. 10 at PNC Bank in Robertsdale. The Silverhill Senior group held a Christmas Party during its regular second Thursday gathering Dec. 12 at the Community Center. Students from Silverhill School visited the Post Office on Friday, Dec. 13 and Bethel Baptist Church hosted its annual Walk Through Bethlehem Thursday through Sunday, Dec. 12-15.
