ROBERTSDALE, Alabama —The Central Baldwin Middle School eighth grade band recently participated in the Alabama Bandmasters Association District VII Music Performance Assessment.
The ensemble received all superior ratings for an overall superior performance. The CBMS Band has consistently received superior ratings at this event, which continues their award-winning, successful year and continues the growing tradition of the CBMS Band Program.
The band students participating in the 2016 Music Performance Assessment include the following:
Flutes: Sara Cooper, Rachel Griffeth, Evee Pacheco, Gabrielle Rice, Bailey Ryals, Annabelle Steelman and Brianna Watson.
Clarinets: Ashley Campos, Navily Dewalt, Priscilla Garcia, Haley Hayes, Alaina Lutz and Adalyn Zajicek.
Bass clarinets: Katelyn Brown, Kaylee Clements and Melia Fiedler.
Contra-alto clarinet: Drako Malinowski.
Alto saxophones: Gabriel Adams, Blake Benson, Nelson Brock, Chase Kennedy, Nathan Leonard, Matthew McCord and Zander Westphal.
Tenor saxophone: Julia Ellis.
Trumpets: Lizzy Bankester, Noah Burch, Christian Duplesis, Jordan Enzor, Joel Groseclose II and Vince Murphy.
Horn: Eli Godfrey.
Trombone: Isaac Godfrey, Cody Green, Mason Lister, Blaine Lofton, Elijah Rabren and Anna Smith.
Euphoniums: Memphis Avritt, Brandon Davis and Brandon Nichols.
Tubas: Jacob Joy and Noah Rostchild.
Percussion: Preston Crabtree, Trenton Gardner, Cameron Keeton-Kaufman, Brendan Mann, Jace Robinson, Cameron Spray, Hunter Theodoro, MaryKate Westley and Brandon Wilson.
The Central Baldwin Middle School bands are under the direction and leadership of Ashley T. Cummings.
