Central Baldwin Middle School selling fruit for holiday season

Posted

All the Family and Consumer Science Students from the Central Baldwin Middle School have initiated  the annual fruit and nut sale  — just in time for the holidays.

We truly appreciate the support of our local community and businesses that have supported our fundraiser and we look forward to another great sale.

The variety of this delicious and affordable fruit includes navel and Hamlin oranges, tangelos, sunburst tangerines, grapefruit, red and gold delicious apples, pears and pineapples. Holiday gift packs and citrus trios are available for those who enjoy a selection and variety of mixed fruit.

The Florida Farm Bureau also offers their own exclusive brand of gourmet nuts and gift assortments. From chocolate covered pecans to cashews, smoked almonds and butter toffee peanuts, the students should have a great selection for this year’s customer.

Customer order sheets/prices can be requested by calling 251-947-2327 between 8 a.m. and 8:45a.m. through Nov. 30. Ask for Dawn Hopper in the Family and Consumer Science Department. The orders will be processed and the fruit delivered by the last week of school before the Christmas holidays. This fundraiser goes toward meeting the expenses of state and national contest that will held in the spring and summer of 2012.
