Central Christian students talk turkey for Thanksgiving

ROBERTSDALE, Alabama — Laura Sullivan's second grade class at Central Christian School got in the spirit of Thanksgiving with help from the Robertsdale Public Library. Librarian Cynthia Nall, came to visit Sullivan's class to talk about Thanksgiving. She read the book, "Run, Turkey, Run" and shared a craft with the second grade class. Each of the students learned how to make a turkey out of fruit. With oranges, grapes, and raisins, the students made their Thanksgiving turkeys. Afterward, they got to enjoy eating their "turkeys.”
