Chad Cullen Childress, age 33, born Jan. 24, 1982, died Sunday, Aug. 23, 2015.
Chad loved his family and loved his children. His family loved him unconditionally, just as Christ loves us.
Chad is survived by his parents, Harry B. and Sharon Monk Childress; two brothers, Matt Joshua Childress and Harry B. Childress Jr.; one sister, Amanda Zylstra (Gary); and two children, Cayden Anthony Childress and Cherish Kaye Childress.
A service was held for family and close family friends on Wednesday, Aug. 26, 2015 at Bethel Baptist Church, with Chad’s uncle, Pastor David Lawrence officiating and Pastor Harvey Earls of Bethel Baptist providing music.
Pallbearers were Jonathan Lawrence, Paul “Buddy” Childress IV, Chris Mosley, David Hammock, Kevin Wilson, Kevin Hall, Phillip Barnhill, Justin Sawyer and Jimmy Harmon.
