South Alabama annually presents the prestigious Corporate Community
Service Award. This award is designed to reward member businesses
who make employee volunteer efforts an important part of their
corporate vision, policies and operations. This year's deadline for
the CCSA application is Friday, November 5, 2010 at
5p.m.
held on Wednesday, September 15 and Thursday, September 23,
2010 beginning at 4 p.m. at the Mobile
Area Chamber of Commerce (451 Government Street). Diana Brinson
with HandsOn South Alabama will be on hand to provide interested
applicants with tips on how to showcase your company's community
service efforts. Past winners will also be present to walk through
the application process and facilitate conversations on how to
submit a winning application. All applicants are strongly
encouraged to attend one of the workshops scheduled in
September.
