ROBERTSDALE, Ala. — No, the cover has not been selected yet, and the magazine is still a work in progress.

That’s typical for a magazine slated to come out in early 2010.

The next edition of the Central Baldwin Magazine is taking shape. Filled with events and “mark your calendar” dates, the publications is a product of the Central Baldwin Chamber of Commerce.

“It’s a quality of life magazine,” said Tim Young, publisher, Alliance Publishing Group, the company that is producing the magazine for the Chamber.

About 6,000 copies of the magazine will be published and will be distributed throughout the area. The magazine is filled with a calendar and lots of information on who to contact and where to ge hold of them.

According to the Central Baldwin Chamber of Commerce, “The Chamber is seeking ideas from investors on feature stories, general information that should be listed in the directory, and other story ideas. Submit your ideas to mmason@centralbaldwin.com.”

While it’s late in the production cycle, Mason says she is willing to hear any new idea. While the original deadline was Oct. 31, it will be extended to the first weeks of November.
