FAIRHOPE, Ala. - Baldwin County Schools Superintendent Alan Lee has proposed that the school board eliminate the mandatory “uniform policy” in favor of a system of dress code guidelines.
And Fairhope school board member Bob Callahan recently sought data from the superintendent regarding the number of disciplinary referrals involving uniform policy violations.That data will be presented by Lee at the May 19 school board meeting, according to county staff.
The superintendent’s office is also seeking input from the public regarding the proposed change, which can be sent via email to input@bcbe.org.
