Charles A. “Charlie” Streit II, 40, a native and resident of Loxley, passed away Monday, Jan. 27, 2014.
Mr. Streit was a sergeant in the United States Marine Corps, was awarded the National Defense Service Medal and was a rifle expert.
He was an Alabama Crimson Tide fan.
Mr. Streit is survived by two sons, Charles A. “Charlie” Streit III of Foley and Juan Pablo Streit of Nos Galhos, Ariz.; father, Charles A. Streit Sr. of Seminole; mother, Claudia Swinney of Loxley; three sisters, Lisa Streit of Robertsdale, Becky Roan of Madison, Miss. and April Hughen of Robertsdale; and other relatives.
Funeral services will be held Friday, Jan. 31, 2014, at 2 p.m., at Mack Funeral Home chapel in Robertsdale.
A visitation will be held Friday, from 1-2 p.m., at Mack Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Hail Memorial Cemetery in Robertsdale.
