Charles Burkart Ogle, age 79, a resident of Orange Beach, Ala., former resident of Decatur, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 5, 2015 in Foley, Ala.
Charles was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, Elberta, Ala., and was a former member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Decatur.
He was a U.S. Army veteran.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hugh and Marguerite Ogle.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Virginia W. “Ginger” Ogle of Orange Beach; daughter, Carol M. Morris of Foley; two sons, Steven W. Ogle of Cincinnati, Ohio, William C. Ogle of Dallas, Texas; brother, Hugh Lee Ogle Jr. of Petal, Miss.; eight grandchildren; and a host of other loving relatives.
Graveside service will be held Saturday, Aug. 15, 2015, at 1 p.m., at Hopewell Cemetery, Hanceville, Ala.
