Charles (Chuck) Ray Sharp died March 11, 2012. He was a member of Church on the Eastern Shore where he served in numerous capacities.
Sharp is survived by his wife of 31 years, Sharon Sharp; his daughter Dana Brown and husband, Korey; daughter Paige Sharp; grandson, Carter Townley; father Billy Sharp; and wife Barbara Sharp; brother, Mark Sharp and wife Tina. He was preceded in death by his mother, Christa Leona Retherford Sharp. He was a wildlife biologist for the state of Alabama Department of Censervation, Wildlife Division, for over 29 years. He served as state Waterfowl Project Leader and Division Technical Representative to the Mississippi Flyway Council. He was also a charter member of The Wildlife Society for over 33 years. A celebration of life will be March 13 at 7 p.m. at the Church on the Eastern Shore. A visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. before the service at the church.
