Charles K. Paul, 73, of Bay Minette, passed away Friday, Feb. 13, 2015 in Bay Minette.
He was a retired police officer from the University of South Alabama, and was born in Escambia County, Ala. on June 29, 1941 to the late Robert T. and Ethel Minchew Paul.
He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and received a Purple Heart.
He was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Walter M. Paul of Bay Minette; four sons, Michael W. (Ellie) Paul of Knoxville, Tenn., Curtis R. Paul of Saraland, Shannon (Misty) Priest of Bay Minette and Eddie Priest of Bay Minette; a daughter, Sabine I. Strader of Portland, Ore.; two brothers, Grady L. (Barbara) Paul and Lee (Margaret) Paul; a sister, Ruby Louise Sandspree; and four grandchildren, Justin Paul, Casey Paul, Nicole Priest and Tyler Priest.
Services will be Sunday Feb. 15, 2015, at 2 p.m., from Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home in Atmore, with Army Chaplin Everett Franklin officiating.
Interment with full military honors will follow in Godwin Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Sunday, Feb. 15, 2015, from 1 until 2 p.m., at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home.
