Charles Kelly Meiklejohn, 57, a resident of Gulf Shores, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2014.
Charles was a lover of the water and the beach, an avid surfer and loved to boat and fish.
His favorite musicians were Jimmy Buffett and Jack Johnson.
He was a loving father and friend to everyone.
Survivors include his daughter, Abby Meiklejohn of Gulf Shores; and a brother, Kenny Meilklejohn of Gulf Shores.
A celebration of life will be held behind The Hangout in Gulf Shores on Saturday, Feb. 8, 2014 at 2:30 p.m. Casual attire is requested.
Following the service, the family will have a ceremony with music and food at 108 W. 12th Ave. in Gulf Shores.
