Charles Thomas Zellers, 68, a native of Louisiana and resident of Marlow, passed away Oct. 18, 2011.
Mr. Zellers was an Army veteran and a retired tug boat captain of 34 years.
He is survived by one son, Charles T. Zellers II (Shannon) of Elsanor; three daughters, Tina Zellers and Margaret Zellers (Mike Evertt), both of Fairhope, and Michelle Postma (Kurt) of Holland, Mich.; three brothers, Donnie Zellers and Larry Zellers, both of Summerdale, and Jerry Zellers of Painsville, Ohio; six sisters, Gwen Curry of Colorado, Molli Thompson of Elberta, Joan Stabler of Summerdale, Myra Ann Bradford and Jeanette Brooks, both of Robertsdale, and Susan Koptis of Summerdale; 20 grandchildren, Aaron Cornell, Allan Cornell, Richard Cornell, Charles Zellers III, Cory Zellers, Brandon Zellers, Britton Zellers, Matthew Pickern, Tyler Evertt, Dillion Evertt, Megan Postma, Madison Postma, Teresa Campbell, Kat Zellers, Kenneth Wilson, Chris Lee, Mark Holder, Marie McCullough, Josie McCullough and Rachael McCullough; and six great-grandchildren, Collin Campbell, Haley Campbell, Damien Cornell, Corvin Cornell, Hailey Pickern and Andrew Pickern.
A memorial service for Mr. Zellers will be held Friday, Oct. 21, 2011, at 6 p.m., at the home of Margaret Zellers and Mike Evertt.
