Charlie Jean Overstreet Petrey, 76, a resident of Saraland and a Mississippi native, departed this earth on March 9, 2015.
She was born Jan. 16, 1939 to Warren and Zelda Mae Overstreet. She was one of five children.
She was preceded in death by her infant son, William; her parents, Warren and Zelda Overstreet; brother, Lamar; and a sister, Laverne.
Jean leaves behind a husband of 58 years, William Farrell (Buddy) Petrey; sons, Randall Wayne Petrey (Teresa) of Lutcher, La. and Timothy Farrell Petrey of Saraland; granddaughters, Amber Petrey, Sarah Blough (Destin), Angela Barton (Myles) and Allison Calrk (Dane); great-grandson, Isaac Barton; great-granddaughter, Ella Blough; brother, Gerald Overstreet (Lois); sister, Fannie Maude Overstreet Adams; nieces, nephews and extended family.
Pallbearers will be brother-in-law, Darrell Petrey; nephews, Phillip Bottoms, Tony Petrey, David Peoples, Mike Peoples and Mitch Peoples.
Honorary pallbearer will be Terry Hedges.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 12, 2015, from 10:30 a.m. until noon, at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Foley.
Funeral service will be held from Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Foley on Thursday, March 12, 2015 at noon.
Interment will follow at Pine Rest Memorial Park in Foley.
