Dolly Ann Chaumont, born Feb. 9, 1948 in New Orleans, 60, a resident of Elberta, died Monday, July 28, 2008 after fighting cancer at home in the care of her family and Covenant Hospice.
She was a retail needlework shop owner with her daughters for 14 years.
She was preceded in death by her step-father, Clinton F. Coulon, her mother, Jane T. Coulon, and a brother, Kim LeBlanc.
Survivors include her husband, Michael J. Chaumont of Elberta; two daughters, Lori (Maj. Robert K.) Clement of Beale AFB, Calif., and Jodi (Jeremy) Sharp of Silverhill; son, Alan Kunkle of Robertsdale; four grandchildren Amberly and Logan Clement, Jacob Sharp and Maddock Kunkle; her father and stepmother Capt. (retired) George L. and Juanita LeBlanc II of Live Oak, Fla.; two brothers, George L. (Suzie) LeBlanc III of Warner Robbins, Ga., and Mark (Vickie) LeBlanc of Live Oak, Fla.; and four sisters, Leah (Lee) Chapin of Tallahassee, Fla., Cynthia Coulon of Conroe, Texas, Terry (Craig) Mellington of Houston, and Janice Miller, of Cary, N.C.
Her life will be celebrated at 2 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 9 at the Courtyard, North Hill, Pensacola.
