DAPHNE, Ala. — Chick-fil-A Daphne invites the community to register for the Chick-fil-A Connect Race Series taking place on Feb. 8. All proceeds will benefit WinShape Camp for Communities.

Last summer, Chick-fil-A Daphne brought WinShape Camp for Communities to Baldwin County. One hundred and sixty-two campers were able to attend, grow, and love WinShape Camp. Through sports, recreation, arts, Bible Study, and worship the campers fulfilled Truett Cathy's hope of empowering children and impacting lives.

This year the camp's slogan is "Summer of a Lifetime." To provide this Summer of a Lifetime, Chick-fil-A Daphne's desire is for an even greater number of Baldwin County children to have their lives positively impacted by WinShape Camp. Many children in our community are in need of financial support to participate in WinShape camp. Through the Feb. 8 Road Race, Chick-fil-A seeks to raise $10,000 which will provide scholarships for fifty-one campers.

The 5K will begin at 8 a.m. on Feb. at Daphne City Hall with the 1 mile family fun run beginning at 9 a.m.

To register for the event, participants can visit CFAraceseries.com. The registration fee for individuals is $25, and the fee for those who sign up on race day is $30.

For groups of four or more runners, a 10 percent discount will be applied to the total registration cost. To learn more about the event, visit CFAraceseries.com. Online registration is now open.
