FAIRHOPE, Ala. — Page & Palette will host author Louis Skidmore July 10, from 10 a.m. until noon, when he will sign his book “The Purple Fuzzballs.”

When one young child discovers tiny purple creatures that need help finding their way home, children everywhere will start looking to the simplest things to spark their imaginations.

Children will love this rhyming adventure, as it will surely become an instant children's classic.

Skidmore was born in Danbury, Conn. on Aug. 18, 1971. He grew up in that area, and graduated from Henry Abbott Tech in 1989.

He moved to the Mobile area in June of 2000, where he currently resides with his wife and three children.

Skidmore is currently working on his bachelor of arts in business from the University of Mobile.

He has been writing poetry and short stories since he was a young child, and has always had a great imagination that makes for fantastic reading.

Your child will love Skidmore’s rhyming adventure, as it is reminiscent of the beloved Dr. Seuss.

He is currently working on his second book, “The Adventures of Ruff the Dog: The Curse of Witches Cavern,” which he hopes to have completed by the end of this year.

He will exclusively sign all books purchased from Page & Palette.
