FAIRHOPE, Ala. — Page & Palette, 32 S. Section St. in Fairhope, will host author Brittany Cassity on Thursday, Feb. 12, 4-6 p.m.

Cassity has written and illustrated Fiddlebug, and lives in West Virginia with her husband and their two sons.

After years of writing for fun and family, she decided to jump into the professional writing and illustrating waters by sending Fiddlebug, her favorite character, out into the world in print.

The story begins on a beautiful spring evening when two little emerald green eyes take their first peek at the big world.

Named by the wind, Fiddlebug’s adventures begin with a hungry tummy and a lot of questions about what he might be.

Finding the answers brings the little creature parents who love him, two best friends and more than enough fun to keep them all happy.
