DAPHNE, Ala. — Nineteen Christ the King Catholic School students ran in the First Light Marathon Fun Run on Jan. 9 to complete a “marathon,” part of the First Light kid’s program.
The students completed a total of 25 miles after school prior to the race and ran the 1.2-mile run to earn a certificate.
CKCS P.E. teacher Barbara Collinsworth and Marty O’Malley, First Light race director, presented the certificates during an assembly last week at the school.
