Louise Wallace Christensen, born Oct. 7, 1920, died Saturday, Nov. 29, 2008.

She was born in Columbia, Miss. She moved with her family to Pensacola in the mid-40s and resided there until 1977 when she remarried and moved to Robertsdale.

She was a member of Foley Senior Citizens Club since 1977 and served as Treasurer for 10 years. She was a member of Robertsdale Senior Center since 1978; and was an avid dancer. She was a member of NARFC #1340 and the Ladies Auxiliary VFW Post 5658 in Elberta. She was Baptist by faith.

She was preceded in death by her father, Wylie Wallace, her mother, Adrienne Sarah Lee Wallace, four sons, William Meadows, Fred A. Meadows, Jerry H. Meadows and Robert R. Meadows; two grandsons, Jimmy Meadows and Brian Meadows; her husband of 19 years, Harold Christensen; two brothers, Charles Wallace and John Wallace; and twor sisters, Eloise Bernard and Marie Wallace.

Survivors include two daughters, Sonja (Jim) Coggins of Pensacola, Fla., and Gail (Don) Heiter of Vancouver, Wash.; three sons, John (Wanda) Meadows of Cantonment, Fla., Donald (Diane) Meadows of Robertsdale and Ronald (Judy) Meadows of Prescott Valley, Ariz.; sister, Tommye Stuckey of Milton, Fla.; 17 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and many, many friends.

A private increment with family was held Wednesday, Dec. 3 at Baldwin Memorial Cemetery.
