GULF SHORES, Ala. -- Christian Service Center volunteers are already cooking for the 11th Annual Spaghetti Dinner to be Feb. 27, from 4:30-7 pm, in Building B at the Gulf Shores United Methodist Church (Winn Dixie Shopping Center).
The $8 ticket includes dinner, drink, salad and dessert. Drive through takeout is available. Entertainment will be provided by the Jubilee Pickers and many items will be raffled.
Tickets may be purchased at the Christian Service Center, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m.– noon, at the Gulf Shores United Methodist Church and from CSC volunteers. Volunteer cooks are, from left, Janice Moss, Vice President; Linda Chappell, President; and Faye Cook, Fundraising Chair.
In its 21 year, the Christian Service Center is a "Hand Up" rather than a "Hand Out" agency. Clients are given immediate emergency aid as well as guidance on finding solutions to problems.
The CSC is a 100 percent volunteer agency funded by the churches of Pleasure Island, various community organizations, including the United Way of Baldwin County, and interested individuals. For more information please call the CSC at 251-968-5256 or visit our web page, www.cscgs.com.
