DAPHNE, Ala.— The Jubilee City’s online presence will get a facelift next week, Jane Ellis, assistant to the mayor said.
Daphne’s web presence will keep its current address, www.daphneal.com.
The redesigned website will have added information and features. According to Ellis, the information will be easier for residents to find on the new site.
“It will be a wonderful communication tool for citizens,” Ellis said.
Each department and committee within the city had the opportunity to have its own page within the new site. The city has been working on getting the new website up and running for a few months, Ellis said.
Residents will also be able to sign up for email alerts through the new site for a variety of services or updates like trash pickup, meeting schedules and project updates from the public works department.
“We are very excited about it,” Ellis said.
