City of Fairhope and mayor appeal court’s denial of attorney’s fees in Dyas Triangle lawsuit

FAIRHOPE, Ala. - The defendants city of Fairhope and Mayor Tim Kant in the “Dyas Triangle” lawsuit have appealed a Mobile federal district judge’s denial of their request for more than a million dollars in attorney’s fees to the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals.

Similarly, the plaintiffs Dyas family, who claimed the defendants thwarted their attempts to develop their property, have appealed some aspects of that lawsuit dismissed by the trial court to the federal appeals court.
