FOLEY, Ala. - The Foley City Council approved a motion Monday to apply for a grant that will allow the city a chance to construct bathrooms at Graham Creek Nature Preserve.

Jessica Nelson, city administrative assistant, said the grant requires a 50 percent match.

The council also held a public hearing asking for resident input on adding bathrooms to the preserve.

"The granting agency does require that we have public input," Nelson said.
