‘City’s future at stake’ in the upcoming election

I was excited to see so many voters participate in the recent election for mayor of Fairhope, but the process is not yet complete.

We have a runoff election on Oct. 7th, which will decide the final result. I worked in the campaign for one of the six candidates who ran against the incumbent, Tim Kant. My candidate, a good man, did not win, but my vote, as well as all the votes cast by the supporters of the other candidates running against Kant, was just that: A VOTE AGAINST KANT, a vote against the good ol’ boy Kant/Nix political machine that has run Fairhope for far too long.

People, our city’s future is at stake. You all voiced you wanted change by voting against Kant, so join me now and enthusiastically stand up and support the successful challenger!

We need change in Fairhope. Give change a chance by voting for Dean Mosher. And to all of the other candidates that ran against Kant, show us that you believe in the change you professed was so important in your campaign. Show that you were sincere about the need to oust KANT and get behind the candidate who will give us that change: Dean Mosher.
