George M. Cizauskas II, 66, a resident of Daphne, died Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2009 after a bout of cancer.
He was a beloved husband, father and grandfather. A native of Pennsylvania, he worked most of his life as an electrical engineer and retired from Armstrong World Industries. He was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church in Daphne.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Mary Cizauskas, and a sister, Marie Radziewicz.
Survivors include his wife, Sarah Cizauskas of Daphne; a son, George Cizauskas of Etters, Pa.; daughter, Denise McBride of Wrightsville, Pa.; four grandchildren; a brother, John (Theresa) Cizauskas, of Hatfield, Pa.; and sister, Sister M. Georgine Cizauskas of Chicago.
Visitation begins at noon with Mass of Christian Burial at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 19 at Christ the King Catholic Church.
The family requests memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
