Clara Kovacik Reed, 79, of Oneonta, Ala. (formerly from Lillian, Ala.), went to her Heavenly home on May 26, 2015.
She was born in Colon, Panama on July 6, 1935 to Joseph A. Kovacik and Henrietta Pascal Jenkins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Dale Reed; and an infant son.
Survivors include her son, John Reed (Sandy); and daughters, Pam Sides and Patricia Milstead (Bill); grandchildren, Brian Sides, Kelly Sides, Samantha Reed, Earl Reagan, Sean Reagan, Chase Milstead and Shannon Milstead.
Special thanks to TLC Nursing Center in Oneonta, Ala. for their loving care of our mother over these past eight years. We would also like to thank Southern Care Hospice for the special care they gave.
Clara was a beloved wife, loving mother and grandmother.
Burial to be at Rountree Cemetery, Elkton, Mo.
“And regarding the question, friends, that has come up about what happens to those already dead and buried, we don't want you in the dark any longer. First off, you must not carry on over them like people who have nothing to look forward to, as if the grave were the last word.
