Clarence Vaughn, 85, a native and lifelong resident of Summerdale, died Monday, March 25, 2013.
Mr. Vaughn was a veteran of the Korean Conflict, serving in the United States Army. He was a lifelong farmer in the central Baldwin area.
He was preceded in death by his sisters, Ruth Sanchez, Lucille Vaughn and Olivia Spid; and brothers, Taylor Vaughn and Howard Vaughn.
Mr. Vaughn is survived by his wife of 49 years, Lillian Jordan Vaughn of Summerdale; daughter, Shirley (Jeff) Carpenter of Robertsdale; two sons, Tony (Margo) Overstreet of Gulf Shores and Douglas Clarence Vaughn of Summerdale; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Graveside funeral services will be held Thursday, March 28, 2013, at 10 a.m., at the Baldwin Memorial Cemetery, Robertsdale.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the W.F. Green State Veterans Home, 300 Faulkner Dr., Bay Minette, AL 36507.
