Dr. and Mrs. Robert Alan Clark of Montrose announce the engagement of their daughter, Elizabeth Ann Clark, to John Grant Golson Jr., the son of Mrs. Allan Drue Jennings of Prairie Village, Kan., and the late John Grant Golson Sr.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Donald Lee Fox and the late Mr. and Mrs. Lester Earl Clark.
She is a 2003 graduate of Bayside Academy and a 2007 magna cum laude graduate of the Hartt School of Music, Hartford, Conn., where she received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in music theatre.
The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of Dr. and Mrs. Walter R. Agee and Mrs. John A. Golson and the late Mr. John A. Golson.
He is a 1999 graduate of Shawnee Mission East High School and a 2005 graduate of The New School University, New York, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in music theatre.
The couple exchange vows April 19, 2008 at Fairhope United Methodist Church.
