Class will leave students in the ‘Dark’

ORANGE BEACH, Ala. — Potter Steve Dark will be teaching a class at the Orange Beach Art Center.

The fun begins with the next session, beginning Aug. 6. This course runs through the for eight weeks, through the end of September, on Wednesday nights, from 6 to 8:30 p.m.

The class fee is $180, and that includes one 25 pound bag of clay, glazes and firings.

The sessions are good for beginners, as well as someone who is coming back into the love of clay.

In this class, you will learn the basic hand-building techniques such as coil, pinch and slab work, glazing and electric kiln firing.

The class has a limit of eight people, and is available on a first come/pay basis.
