GULF SHORES, Ala. — Who is killing the people around Monkswell Manor? Is it Major Metcalf? Or perhaps that gadabout Christopher Wren?
Suspicious characters and an isolated manor house are just a few of the elements in Agatha Christie's classic whodunit, "The Mousetrap," that opens March 4 at South Baldwin Community Theatre in Gulf Shores.
Set in England, Monkswell Manor is the country inn at the center of the storm. There's a killer on the loose and he or she just might be a guest at the manor.
The cast includes (in photo at right, from left: Seth Bowling as Detective Sgt. Trotter; Robert Flack as Major Metcalf; Meg Reed and Jill Downs as Miss Casewell and Joy Hoff (seated) as Mollie Ralston.
Other cast members, not pictured, include: Michael Lee, Ted Pitsios, Elaina Herring and Nathan Strong.
Joyce James is the director of the show, and Sharon Watson is the assistant director.
Performances will be March 4-14. Thursday, Friday and Saturday shows are at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday shows are at 2.
Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for children. Group rates are available.
