Johnny Lewis Cloud, 37, a native of Sumter County, Fla., and a resident of Pensacola, Fla., died Sunday, Jan. 19, 2009 at Baptist Hospital.
He was a self-employed roofer.
He was preceded in death by his father, Randolph Cloud of Pasco County, Fla.; brother, Edward Cloud of Pasco County, Fla.; grandparents, Arszel and Rosa Cloud of Georgia; aunts and uncles.
Survivors include his mother and step-father, Ella and Huey Byrd of Stapleton; his step-mother, Brenda Cloud of Brooksville, Fla.; grandmother, Mattie Walker of Pensacola, Fla.; five sisters, Gloria (Doug) McClure and Marie (Jeff) Fuller, both of Pensacola, Fla., Mandy (Chad) Floyd of Elsanor, Tanya (Eddie) Dean of Perdido and Miranda Cloud of Brooksville, Fla.; brother, Buddy Cloud of Pensacola, Fla.; four children, Avery Cloud, Johnny Cloud (Mandy Staples) and Jayne Cloud, both of Pensacola, Fla., and Madison Cloud (Jennifer Moore) of Crest Hill, Ill.; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and close friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 23 at Norris Funeral Home with the Rev. J.P. Lambert officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Austin Dean, Chris Lawson, Lee Davis, Kevin Capara, Donnie Crandall, Buddy Walker and Jim Byrd. Honorary pallbearers will be Johnny Walker and Bobby Whitmire.
